Chun’s Corner

Liane sped down a wide avenue lined with a few stunted old cypress trees, and he heard Chun close at his heels. He turned into an archway, pulled his bronze ring over his head, down to his feet. He stepped through, brought the ring up inside the darkness. Sanctuary. He was alone in the dark magic space, vanished from earthly gaze and knowledge, brooding silence, dead space…

He felt a stir beside him, a breath of air. At his elbow a voice said, ‘I am Chun the Unavoidable.’

-          The Dying Earth, Jack Vance.

Welcome to Chun’s Corner.

This is now a purely Vance-related site (except for certain links). Only Vance-inspired tales remain as extras to the bibliography – all else has been removed.

While I’m here, thanks to those who’ve taken the time to email me regarding this site – your comments have been most welcome.

As ever, it is my hope that the bibliography will serve as an inspiration to any who were not previously aware –or barely so– of Jack Vance’s work. Read him and enjoy. I thank you for your time.
